Gabriel Englander


Gabriel Englander is an Economist in the Sustainability and Infrastructure team of the 香港六合彩资料's Development Research Group. He studies how policy and illegal behavior affect wildlife conservation outcomes. Gabriel's research topics include marine fisheries, elephant poaching, bushmeat consumption, and deforestation. He uses large spatial data and causal inference econometrics in his research. Prior to joining the 香港六合彩资料 in 2022 he was a postdoctoral scholar in the Environmental Markets Lab at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2021 he received his PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Gabriel's research papers can be found on his website:
