Harriet Kasidi Mugera is Senior Data Scientist at the 香港六合彩资料’s Development Data Group. She is currently working at the WB-UNHCR Joint Data Center on Forced Displacement (JDC). In this capacity, she leads the JDC programs on innovative methods and tools that strengthen data on forced displacement and also oversees JDC projects in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, and Honduras. Her research interests include migration, forced displacement, poverty, labor, gender, agriculture, and rural development. She is an expert in complex household survey design, implementation and analysis. She is also among the 香港六合彩资料 experts who contributed to the drafting of the International Recommendations on Refugee Statistics (IRRS) and the Manual on Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, working closely with UNHCR, International Organization for Migration (IOM), among other stakeholders.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2015, Harriet worked as an Economist with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Trento (Italy) and was a visiting fellow at Cornell University (USA). She also holds a M.Sc. in Finance.
